- California does not have state-mandated continuing education requirements for massage therapists.

• COLORADO
- Massage therapists are not currently required to complete continuing education for license renewal.

• FLORIDA
- Accepts NCBTMB approved continuing education courses.

• KANSAS
- Kansas does not have a state-wide board regulating massage therapy, some cities and counties in Kansas may require continuing education (CE) for local permits. If CE is required locally, it typically aligns with the standards set by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) or the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). In these cases, courses approved by the NCBTMB are generally accepted

• LOUISIANA
- Barefoot Trainer’s Ashiatsu is not registered with the Louisiana Board of Massage Therapy. This board charges $50 per course that a CE Provider registers and having 11 courses currently, it’s not beneficial at this time for Barefoot Trainer’s Ashiatsu to register its courses with the LA board.
- HOWEVER, LA licensed massage therapist may request CEU approval from a non-standard program or course by submitting an application form issued by the board. This makes it possible for a LA licensed massage therapist

• MAINE
- Maine does not currently have mandatory continuing education requirements for massage therapists renewing their licenses.
